The Bristol Bike Project

In May 2013, The Bristol Bike Project created a new entrance to their facilities in City Road, Bristol.

The Bike Project were keen to make the outside space more user friendly and approached me to design and paint a bike- themed mural on their 18ft wall to advertise their premises.

The mural was awarded grants from both The Treasure Chest Fund and The Bristol Bike Project.

I worked closely with the building and adjourning owners as well as the Bike Project in developing the design and liaised with the planning authorities for permission to carry out the mural. This included a ‘diary’ theme for DiaryCroft flats who owned the wall, since the building originally existed as a diary farm!

The mural is part of the Bristol street art tour.

The mural was awarded grants from both The Treasure Chest Fund and The Bristol Bike Project.

Limited edition wall decals were made to celebrate the finished mural!
